Diving Into Oceans workshops are designed to educate our youth about the realities and wonders of our oceans. Our goal is to make education on marine biology accessible to everyone.

INTRO TO MARINE BIOLOGY
The first lesson is an introduction to marine biology. This includes a discussion about the basic ecosystem dynamics, the importance of food chains in these environments, and an interactive segment about coral reefs and their impact on the world.
HUMANS & THE OCEAN
The second lesson is about impact humans have on ocean environments. Kids will investigate the path plastic waste takes from a landfill to the seafloor, as well as the impact of overfishing. Then, we examine the care humans provide for our planet and ocean animals.
OCEANS AND CLIMATE
The third lesson explores how weather and climate impact our oceans. Students will learn how rising global temperatures contribute to melting ice caps, rising sea levels, and coral bleaching. It also includes a fun portion on the impact of extreme weather events and their impact of marine life.
